Accessibility statement

Reviewed September 19, 2026

Our commitment

Water Project Watch is designed for people using keyboards, screen readers, magnification, high contrast, and reduced-motion settings. Our technical target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Accessibility features

  • A skip link, semantic headings, navigation landmarks, descriptive controls, and visible keyboard focus.
  • Light, dark, and system themes with browser zoom and text resizing support.
  • Native form controls, plain-language instructions, status messages, and error text that does not rely on color alone.
  • Reduced-motion support and layouts designed to reflow on narrow screens.
  • Sign in with ChatGPT so Water Project Watch does not require users to memorize a separate password.

Known boundaries

Government pages and documents reached through external source links are controlled by their issuing agencies. Their accessibility may vary. Water Project Watch provides normalized text for discovery but the linked source remains authoritative.
